We are looking for an ambitious Senior Audit Manager to join our Bristol and Bath Audit and Assurance team, based in either office.

Our clients range from household name companies to start ups. You will be working with our clients to understand them, discussing specific requirements and agreeing exactly what we'll do, and looking beyond the core audit essentials to provide management information that will help them to prosper.

Able to demonstrate considerable experience of executing assurance engagements from planning to completion under UK GAAP and group reporting, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and undertake responsibility for audit assignments
  • Monitor budgets and agree fees for each assignment
  • Manage client relationships and expectations
  • Provide support and training to junior members of staff
  • Play a key role in all Business Development activities.

Your proven management skills, confidence with clients and staff, and thorough systematic approach as well as your outgoing, enthusiastic personality will stand you in good stead to benefit from this outstanding career opportunity.

You will have:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Considerable experience of managing a diverse portfolio of audit clients
  • Excellent IT Skills and a good standard of education (minimum 2 A Levels, 9 GCSEs (or equivalent) with at least a Grade B in Maths and English.

You will demonstrate:

  • A passionate people-manager with previous experience of coaching and developing trainees
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • A commercial approach with a drive to contribute towards the firm’s growth through business development activities.
