Are you a Senior Audit Manager / Audit Director looking for a new challenge?

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Audit Manager/Audit Director to join our established Exeter office.

Able to demonstrate considerable experience of managing integrated audit services for corporate clients and charities including academies, you will be someone who can motivate and develop a dedicated, multi-skilled team to deliver an exceptional service across audit, accounts and tax compliance.

Ranked as a Sunday Times Top 100 Employer, you would be joining a top 30 fast growing accountancy firm with 7 offices, 29 partners and over 300 staff. We are big enough to attract and retain specialist partners and staff, but small enough to provide a personal, partner-led service, and our client base is wide and varied.

You will manage a portfolio of clients ranging up to c£20 million turnover as well as playing a leading role in business development. Confident, professional and credible with clients, you will have a good grasp of technical and business issues, industry trends and practices with the ability and energy to transform these into value added services for clients.

This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic firm within a senior managerial/director level role where you will have real input into the firms future strategy.  

You will have:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualification  (or equivalent)

  • 5 -10 years post qualified experience working within an audit and assurance environment.

  • Previous experience of managing a varied portfolio of clients as well as leading business development activities.

  • Excellent IT Skills and a good standard of education (min. 2 A Levels, 9 GCSE’s (Or Equivalent) with Min. Grade B’s in Maths and English.

You will be:

  • An excellent people-manager with previous experience of coaching and developing trainees.

  • Confident, outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Well-organised, enthusiastic, thorough, systematic approach, and the ability to work to deadlines.

  • Highly commercial with the drive to contribute towards the firms growth.
