We are looking for an ambitious Tax Manager to join our Bristol or Bath offices.

Able to demonstrate experience of Private Client Tax, you have experience of providing tax advisory and consulting services to a broad portfolio of clients. This role may suit an existing manager or be a first management step for an experienced tax executive or associate.

The clients you would be advising include directors of large multinationals, business owners and high net worth individuals.

Supporting the Senior Management Team you will help to deliver a wide range of taxation advice which may include:

  • Remuneration planning including share incentivisation schemes
  • Capital tax planning, including inheritance tax and trusts
  • Property tax projects
  • International tax issues
  • Supporting the wider tax function of the firm and supervision of junior tax staff.

With a solid and broad ranging experience, you will be used to working as a self-motivated team player with excellent technical skills.

You will have:

  • Professional qualifications. CTA qualified and/or ACA/ACCA(or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 2 years post qualified experience working in a private client tax environment.
  • Excellent IT Skills and a good standard of education (min. 2 A Levels, 9 GCSE’s (or Equivalent) with Min grade Bs in Maths and English

  • Confident and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Well-organised, enthusiastic, thorough, with a systematic approach, and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Keen to support the partner team with business development and marketing.
