We are looking for an ambitious Tax Manager to join one of our South West offices.

Able to demonstrate experience of Private Client Tax, you will have experience of providing tax advisory and consulting services to a broad portfolio of clients.

The clients you would be advising will be varied and will include business owners, property landlords and high net worth individuals.

Supporting the Senior Management Team you will help to deliver a wide range of taxation advice which may include:

  • Remuneration planning including share incentivisation schemes
  • Capital tax planning, including inheritance tax and trusts
  • Property tax projects
  • International tax issues
  • Support for the wider tax function of the firm and supervision of junior tax staff in advisory projects and efficient compliance.

You will have:

  • Professional qualifications. CTA qualified and/or ACA/ACCA(or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 3 years post qualified experience working in a private client tax environment
  • Excellent IT Skills and a good standard of education (min. 2 A Levels, 9 GCSE’s (or Equivalent) with Min grade Bs in Maths and English

You will be:

  • Confident and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills
  • An excellent people-manager with previous experience of coaching and developing trainees
  • Well-organised, enthusiastic, thorough, with a systematic approach, and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Keen to support the partner team with business development and marketing
