Are you a payroll professional who is looking to take the next step in your career?

We are looking for an enthusiastic payroll administrator to join our growing Torquay based payroll bureau.

Joining an established team, you will be responsible for running a variety of client payrolls in a timely and efficient manner.

It won’t all be about work – this role will give you the opportunity to study payroll qualifications as well as the opportunity to get involved in our CSR and Business Development activities, all of which will combine to aid your overall career development.

Our Business

Recently recognised as a Sunday Times 100 Best Employer for the fifth consecutive year and crowned ‘Business of the Year’ at the 2019 British Chamber of Commerce Awards, you will be joining a business that is taking giant strides in the accountancy and advisory sectors.

Come and be part of a firm which understands the importance of its people having a healthy work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to work flexibly within a organisation that is continually looking to innovate and improve.

The Role

Playing a key part in the day to day running of monthly and weekly client payrolls, your responsibilities will include:

  • Regularly liaising with our clients to ensure that you have all the information required to run their payrolls
  • Processing tax and allowances
  • Providing a pensions auto enrolment service
  • Dealing with payroll and bank credits

What we are looking for

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:

  • Previous payroll administration experience – this can be gained from within either an in-house or bureau environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced working environment
  • Good IT skills and be able to confidently use Microsoft office and payroll software

If you would like to find out more about the role then please contact Ben Carter; Resourcing Manager or Tracy Clegg; Payroll Manager.

We recognise the importance of offering our employees flexibility in how they work. This may include working from home some of the time or flexible working arrangements such as part time working to accommodate parent and carer responsibilities, further studies and hobbies.

We are a responsible employer - committed to welcoming new people into an inclusive working environment, where everyone is given equal opportunity to reach their full potential.

Our ‘One Firm’ approach aims to provide a culture where our people are valued and treated fairly with respect, but also one where our differences are understood and celebrated.

We hope that these objectives will attract you to our business as an employer of choice.
