We are looking to recruit a talented and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our expanding outsourced finance team.

Predominately working with a large healthcare client, you will be taking on a management accounting role which will give the opportunity to make a real positive impact on our client’s business through the detailed analysis and interpretation of financial information.

There is potential for this role to evolve and develop further as our outsourced finance function grows.

The Role

Your day to day responsibilities will include: 

  • Production of client monthly management accounts and reporting including balance sheet control reconciliations as well the posting of accruals and prepayments
  • Liaising with allocated clients on a regular basis – ensuring that excellent client service is offered at all times
  • Managing and developing our transactional outsourced finance team
  • Supporting in the preparation of outsourced finance client budgets with regular forecast reviews
  • Understanding and adhering to financial regulations and compliance including VAT and Corporation Tax
  • Developing and improving client financial controls

What we are looking for

To be considered for the role, you will be: 

  • Fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experienced in the preparation of monthly management accounts including in month and year end processes/closure
  • An excellent people manager with the ability and skills to effectively coach and develop a transactional finance team
  • A strong communicator with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
  • An advanced Microsoft Excel user
